Media Cataloger is a multimedia utility that allows you to organize, find and retrieve movies, graphics, sound and text files from multimedia collections such as CD's and hard disks. You can create visual catalogs of these files and attach key words to each object. This combination of a visual database and keywords makes it easy to browse through and organize your important files. Once a catalog is created, the powerful search engine can quickly retrieve files based on criteria you select, such as file type, name, keyword(s), etc. You can also cut, copy and paste objects from the catalog into other applications. The Media Cataloger supports, "PICT" and "snd resources" and QuickTime™, PICT, EPS, TIFF, PhotoShop, PhotoCD, and MacPaint files. Once a file is cataloged, it does not have to be on-line so you can include floppy disk, CD-ROM or server files in a catalog. Up to 32,000 objects can be cataloged. The Media Cataloger only uses pointers to files and a thumbnail or Icon, so that catalogs of very large image and movie files are very small, preserving disk space.
Multiple catalogs can be open at the same time and catalogs can be shared over a network. Designed for individual and small group use, Media Cataloger is fast, efficient and extremely easy to use.
